Household List Terms of Use

Effective October 19, 2026 · Applies to the Household List app for iPhone and Android

Household List is made by Twin Stack Apps LLC (“we”, “us”). By using the app you agree to these terms. If you got the app from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; if these terms and Apple’s differ, Apple’s apply to your use of the app on Apple devices.

Using the app

You can use Household List to share a grocery list, chores and a borrowed-things list with the people you invite. Don’t use it to break the law, to harass anyone, or to try to get into households or data that aren’t yours. We may remove access for anyone who does.

The app is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and your lists in sync, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Free and the household unlock

Household List is free for a household of 2 people with up to 3 chores. One person can unlock their household, for everyone in it, so it can have up to 6 people and 50 chores. There are two ways to unlock:

Payments are handled by Apple or Google, under their terms; refunds are requested from them. If a yearly unlock ends, the household goes back to the free limits. Nothing is deleted: everyone stays in the household and every list and chore is kept, but no more people or chores can be added until it’s unlocked again.

Your data

What we store and how to delete it is explained in the privacy policy. Households nobody has opened for 12 months are deleted with everything in them (24 months with the lifetime unlock; never while a yearly unlock is paid for). Deleting your data in the app does not cancel a yearly subscription; cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.
